Updating Charger Position

1. Identify the Exact Charger Location: Before making adjustments, determine the precise location of your chargers (e.g., the intersection of Conway Avenue and Bates Street).
   
   

2. Access the Accounts Tab: Log in to your ZEFNET account and click on the Accounts tab located on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
   
   
   

3. Navigate to Charger Hosts: Within the Accounts section, find and select the Charger Hosts area.
   
   
   

4. Switch to Map View: Click on the Map View icon to display your charger locations on a map.
   
   
   

5. Select the Site to Edit: Locate and click on the specific site you wish to adjust (use the handy search bar to enter the name of the site to reduce the list items to select from).
   
   
   

6. Enter Edit Mode: Click on the pencil icon to enable editing for the selected site.
   
   
   

7. Utilize Satellite Imagery: For more precise positioning, switch the map backdrop to satellite imagery. This view can help in accurately locating physical landmarks and structures.
   

8. Adjust the Map Icon: Click on the orange map icon representing the charger and drag it to the exact desired position on the map.
   
   
   

9. Save the New Position: Once the icon is correctly placed, click on the check icon to save the updated location.
   
   
   

10. Confirm the Update: The new position will be updated in ZEFNET and will reflect in the ZEFNET Charge mobile app after the next data refresh on the drivers app.  The driver app uses the lat long to position icons, the ZEFNET website uses the street address to position the icon, so you may see differences between the app and the ZEFNET website at the time of writing (Nov 2024).
